I've see a ton of people who have way more money than they should. Last game I saw a level 6 with the Lighthouse safehouse and at least 10k on top of that.

I think what needs to happen is a very simple anti-cheat. I've seen a little kid level 4000 something. I've seen some kids with infinite money. There should be a simple algorithm that takes in to account the games played and the max amount of money you can make, etc.

A level 6 had the Lighthouse Safehouse. Mind you, that's not in any way shape or form possible. They should be immediately banned.

A game as new as this having hackers (mainly little kids) cheating their way to the top should be a dead giveaway.

There is literally nothing competitive in this game. Them doing this does not affect you.

note i play solo so i might not know if this works but if i heard right a lvl 1 can join a game with a lvl 10 host and play on hard. map 2 hard give you $2700 for just the ghost i think almost 5k if you do it all will be more if you do the hospital. 8 games if you do it on hard and all you can get the light house. i think you be about lvl 4-6. + this game is "EARLY ACCESS" they are working on it and finding new bugs. i don't know if there a report button. but do what your doing and post it a pic of the problems. if they now how its done they might be able to fix it.

how is cheating in solo lobbies killing the game for other solo or friends only lobbies??? I fail to see that? Yeah there should be some sort of anti-cheat to catch people... but this isnt a competitive game.

i mean its no competitive its just people trying to have fun with new map without having to grid the ♥♥♥♥ out of a game. and if someone did it in ur game and you don't like it then get simply leave....

How are they killing it for others? I mean if i would see a suspicious account joining i either leave or kick them if i am host. Problem solved.

Wait a another 2 weeks and you will have a ton of no life accounts that aren´t cheated, and you can´t tell the difference anymore between no life and cheated.

As a mostly SP and MP with RL friends player. i know that i couldn´t care less if someone needs to cheat in a game like this. I rather pity them.

It's a co-op scary fun game, not comp. Host a lobby and kick people you don't want or play with your friends? Seeing the grind in this game, I don't blame anyone who wants to just get all the cool stuff asap.

Well it´s not too bad. With exorcism only you can earn money fast on cyclone street. I have the pub fully equipped, the light house and 15k money. just around 40 hours played. You really gotta be impatient and lazy to need cheats. Still don´t mind if others cheat as it will never effect me, even when i play with them.

While I don't condone cheating in multiplayer games, like others said I really don't see the issue in this case. It's not a competitive game. Yes, even in coop games cheaters can ruin your fun, that much is true. But honestly, how does this even apply here? How do they benefit from more exp and money?

It doesn't help them other than having access to all the tools and locations right away, and that doesn't help them the slightest during an actual round. Sure, they may have hundreds of levels and items in their inventory, but level doesn't really mean anything in the big term other than unlocking things and an inaccurate gauge of ones potential skill, money itself is completely useless during a round, and the amount of tools you can bring into a round is limited. It gives them pretty much no advantage whatsoever for actual gameplay.

If you notice they're cheating in other ways that actually affects gameplay, it's as simple as kicking them (if they're in YOUR lobby), leaving the lobby (if you're in THEIR lobby) and then either way reporting them if you're really bothered by it. I don't think an Anti-Cheat would be a good idea. From my experience, Anti-Cheats are essentially useless (people WILL find workarounds) and as such all they do in the long run is affect game-performance.
