Randomly getting kicked from multiplayer games

I tried to play games with friends, and at random points during the game I'll get kicked. No error messages, it just sends me to the lobby. Anyone else having this issue?

It happened to me too. I am from Romania. It happens at random too. Or I have people get kicked out from the lobby without me doing anything.

The hosts are probably either kicking you or disconnecting from the game themselves. If the host leaves it's game over and back to the lobby.

This is pissing me off real bad too. I think the once the map loads, the host should NOT be allowed to kick players mid game.

Yesterday I've had freeloaders who asked me to sponsor equipment (being low levels), all they did was sit outside and commanding me and my friend to do the objectives, and after we exorcised the ghost, he kicked me. The cheek of him.

On another game, we were all low on sanity on hospital and the ghost just kept chain hunting, and we're also missing the last evidence. Host's friend was just cam watching in tent while host was in the hospital. Went back to the tent and told the dude what I think the ghost is, based on the behaviour. Used in game chat to convey the message to the host. At this point my friend got killed earlier. I suddenly got booted to the menu. I asked my friend whether the same happened to her. She said she's still in game. She asked the host if they kicked me, they ignored her. I was actively participating in the investigation, not as if I sit in the tent cam watching like a wuss all game and they get trigger happy and decided to kick you for fun. Extremely rude tbh. This toxic behaviour has to stop, man.

I am getting kicked from a private session. I know for a fact my friend isn't kicking me. It just happens after some time of playing and I am unable to rejoin even with an invite from the host.

I'm in North America and also having this problem - I will constantly be brought back to my own private safehouse after joining a random lobby. Sometimes it happens within seconds, other times we load in and everyone seems to be onboard to play together - then it drops. When I run a private match with friends it works fine, and on occasion a public match will work fine, too. Some error message handling based on a disconnection from your lobby would be really nice.

the latest patch is bad. my friend hosted (germany) and i (australia) kept getting kicked. in the past few patches, i never experienced this.

also, they've not added greek localisation?

My partner is also having this issue. It's incredibly frustrating for her. She'll be playing a match and it'll be fine for a bit, but then gets randomly kicked with no error message or reason. It would seem like something in this game is potentially conflicting with something and It's surprising seeing so many other players with the same issue with no apparent reason or fix.
