yes, i've seen it spell out "basement" to the question "where are you?"

It works for where are you I’ve tried other things but to no avail and if your sanity low and late in the game asking the board again where are ghost replied in person haha here and started the hunt

These are the 3 question you can ask.

Are you here? - you go to room by room and ask and it will say yes or no

Where are you? - it will tell you exactly where it is, like spelling out office or basement and such.

Good bye - say this after you are done with the board else it will hunt you.

Did that to me as well, but in the hospital. So, are these preset locations? Iirc, the ghost was in the second floor, right after the end of the stairs.
