How does Multiplayer / Solo work?

So we are 4 we created a new character and do the tutorial.
So we were one our "solo game" and we decided to join one friend.
We all built a Cairn there.

Now we are locked in this new game, so how can we go back in Solo game?

You go back to your respite realm. Or if you made your current realm your respite realm. You just make a new realm. And then dont invite anyone to it, then make that your respite realm.

How do i make a new realm to be able to play solo?

Cause if i undestand correctly i built my Cairn so it became my "respite realm".

Basically what i want et what we all want is to be able to play Solo and sometime join one server of one friend.
Problem is that without a Cairn we cant use the "Teleport back to base" option.

I believe the answer to this is that if you only periodically want to join a friends world/realm/server you want to build your estate cairn in solo and then the person you want to join needs to give you a realm card for their realm and that allows you access to their realm whenever, even if they are offline.

Man it's so complexe like a REAL Tutorial is needed for all this...
I don't know why it's made like that and not "Join Solo" / "Join Friend" like any other game honnestly.

You make an Estate Cairn. This is your home realm. You can teleport back to it using the map.

You can then travel to other realms. And not make that public, thus you can play solo. The fast travel is only meant to serve as a point of respawn or to get back to base.

If you only want to go on adventures together DONT build an estate realm in the realm you guys go into together. You adventure in a new realm. Then when your done. you go back to your home realm.

Yes but that's doesn't change the problem that we can't use "Teleport back" which seems really weird cause it Teleport back to your Cairn in your World.

Didn't understand the "he needs to give you his Realm Card" except joining a group, building Cairn and "manage home autorisations" (unavailable atm)... no idea what it is.

Effectively. There is 2 ways you can do it.

1. Everyone in the same realm builds a estate cairn. This is your shared realm. If you want to play solo. Make a new realm. And not invite anyone and play solo.

2. Everyone makes an estate realm in their own individual realms. Then someone makes a realm. And invite you to that realm. Do not build an estate there. Everyone can play together. Then once your done. Go back to your home realm to play solo. You can also continue your solo adventure into new realms and not invite anyone.
