Stop defending EA
Here is my beef with this debate, the dev team puts out these AAA trailers, showcase videos that have no flaws, only show the best their product has to offer, then they invite you to experience this curated vision they now give you.

All that hype and expectations are on THEM. They marketed a game in such a way, if they wanted to be honest how about they make a showcase trailer of their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ UI and their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ crafting system?

No they don't, because then you might have an actual expectation of what it will be like going in. So they create this environment and pull out victim cards "but EA".

Just my opinion on the matter.

If you don't like Early Access then wait until its finished and released.. you are free to do what you like..

Its clearly marked up as an early access title.. its not an excuse its the current state of development..

Maybe don;t bash EA games when you know what EA means and you know what you see in the trailers is the best possible circumstance (like all games not even just EA). If you expect an EA game to run awesome and be feature complete then that is a you problem. There are disclaimers on every trailer and on the store page. EA means unfinished , buggy, and usually poorly optimized, if you expect anything else no matter what is show cased that is on you for not understanding what EA is.

It's an extremely elaborate crafting system that will likely boggle simple minds. Yes.

.....I understand what EA is, I'm making this post because I feel nightingale is getting the reviews it deserves and shouldn't hide behind, but but its EA, after making such a spectacle of their product. That is all

Early Access games are cancerous. It's basically there so developers have no responsibility for when the game fails and they run away with your money. The worst thing ever introduced into the gaming market is Early Access.

This game just another survival with a lot of missing QoL content.
Is it always online to play feature? That seems really bad as well.

They didn't make any spectacle of it or any unfounded claims . Like any game they made trailers showcasing what is in the EA with warnings saying the game is incomplete, like how were you lied to? Are you saying EA games should not advertise?

There used to be these things you had to sit through about every 12 minutes while watching a show on television... they were called "commercials". To avoid making this a VERY long post, I'll cut to the point...

I've NEVER had a McRib that actually looked like the one in the commercials.

EA games should not even exist.

On top of that, people have the ability to refund if they haven't played more than 2 hours and/or 2 weeks.

People have the tools to avoid being stuck in these situations.

Ah yes. So we should just accept false advertisement? Lol. Consumers man. Funny thing is ppl have sued for such things before. EA is the most cancerous thing to happen to the gaming industry. Period.

It pretty much replaced kickstarter, I have soooo many games in EA graveyard. but ill admit i got my money out of most of them, and some EA games admittedly have been better than some AAA drops. But yes I agree to a large extent with you.

Usually posts like this are just garbage takes but honestly, I can't argue.

Singleplayer games that NEED a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ internet connection is stupid. The rest of the game doesn't make up for it, from what i've seen.

im waiting to refund actually to see if my wife enjoys it, then ill just chug along and coop to make her happy, if it plays ♥♥♥♥ on controller shell prob refund it tho, and with the UI in its current state idk if it will be a pleasant experience. She loved Pal World and is getting really warmed up to enshrouded, before this she got burned pretty bad on coral island coming out of EA for their sorry excuse for 1.0, so idk well see.
