Is this game that bad?

I see many posts and people are saying this game is pretty bad, servers are bad, ping is high even on solo mode, is that true? ;x I was so hyped for this game and I'm scared :/

The servers lagged a couple of times. The game itself is very nice looking. I can't vouch for more since I played up to the point where you have to build a base. Best to wait a few days. See what's what.

Wait time for me has never been more than 10 secs, if there was even a wait. Never had a single issue with ping.

Maybe I'm lucky. Or maybe, people just like to complain about personal preferences and subjective tastes. To me, it's a non-issue and so far, having a good time (no bugs, no fps stutters, etc.).

I enjoyed the game so far, most bad reviews are about the fact that you can only play it online...which is exactly what i want to do with my friends...but not everyone of course has friends ;)

Yeah, that's got to be it. What if you have friends but they don't want to play this game?

If your in the USA, then the server are fine. If your not. best of luck

There is server lag which causes the load times when you go through a portal to be pretty long and when you build something it takes a few seconds to complete it (the game uses the blue print system like "the forest"/ Sons of the forest") other than that there is no lag in combat that i can tell and none while you are playing in the realms but I'm still in my home realm building my base.

most posts i see are people crying about how its a multiplayer game and they need an internet connection..

its literally sold as a co-op game not sure what they were expecting..

I am watching streamer playing. it looks quite good - surprisingly very good. I am not buying it because online only, but check on twitch the gameplay, maybe it is your type of game ? Be aware that like with all online only game , your experience can degrade very quick (in my experience) with high latency...

Solo or coop.

You know what doesn't need internet LAN.

I'm not sure what you're expecting if you can't read.
