EDIT:
If you are uncertain or do not have time to get it solved righ now (or within 2 weeks or under 2 hours of playtime), refund, then go over the basics outlined in that article.
You can always buy it again.
Basically your PC is below minspec for one reason or another.
If you are uncertain, post here the basics:
- Windows version (10/11)
- Windows revision / build number (Start menu > "WinVer")
- Driver version of your graphics card

it looks like it should get fixed soonish.
I requested a refund for now since I don't want to chance getting stuck with a game I can't play.
ID: flummut
Windows 10 V:1909 B:18363
64GB RAM
drivers updated today, just to make sure
I play ALLOT of games. This is the first time I have ever received the above issue. DX12 has been around since 2015. It isn't like it is a new thing that might not be fully supported.
Because "updated" doesn't mean anything these days, people keep claiming this while being stuck in legacy driver family R4xx when we talk Nvidia.
Post the actual driver version, it's that easy.
Post the entire build number, and if it is not higher or equal to .1350, your Windows OS is below requirements.
Also note that you are stuck in deprecated Windows OS build that is no longer being maintained by Microsoft.
The info is posted here:

The base spec comes from DirectX 12 Agility SDK the Unreal Engine 5 uses.
For video it is GeForce game ready Driver Version 551.52 Release date: 02/13/2024
For windows version, that may actually be my issue. I am digging into that more now.
No Arc is sadly suffering from a lack of proper brain folding.. You can see from his recent posts, he has gone on a binge of ' Learn to computer ' rants.. An how there could be ZERO chance a just launched EA game could have issues.. Its clearly ' you an your computer '.. =)
AgilitySDK min requirements are outlined here:

Bunch of UE5 examples can be found here?
