Reclaim removal was a mistake

When I got this game I saw all the grind I was doing as a path to a goal. Playing on the hardest level, struggling though everything solo, I knew that there was an end game, and I was going to enjoy it. I am just getting into the gloom and the entire end game I was working towards is gone.

I have chest after chest of items I was saving for reclaim, now it is chest after chest of trash.
I did not even get forge yet, and it has all been taken away for what?

People are complaining about things being too easy in multiplayer because someone reached endgame too fast?
The same exact complaint can be leveled at those who are going to the same fixed point on easy mode. So remove easy mode now too.
Through skill, cheese, and luck I have had to kill things I should not have been able to kill. Tutorial was extremely hard, but I struggled though it, while others one shot everything in a rampage on easy mode. So is that not exactly what the complaint is in the end game? The fix was to make my hard work worthless, and my future removed?
I don't even have guns yet, and all the materials I was collecting for guns are now locked in items that now can not be properly reclaimed. It was the charm of the game. There was something to look forward to. So some guy figured out a way to combine everything perfectly to make a gun. Why punish everyone for someone enjoying the game? Why not jut add more content to make the end game harder than the gun? Cut off the nose to spite the face. That makes complete sense. Consider this thought. The people making the super guns were taking the easy way out? Well, this fix was taking the easy way out too.

The auto mats have +health and + weight. That is why we use those metals. Learn to craft. This whole thread are about people not knowing how to craft or understanding the stat system.

Their inexperience is showing as a studio, considering the watch is easymode (100 gear) people like me that do have a folded gun I personally only run Extreme solo vaults because 70 essence. Also even if you dont have folded ingots, with a group of 4 people in a public vault with tier 5 gear at the watch its literally a speed run, with or without folded gear, they should have just made balance changes, I mean folding isnt infinite, there is a ceiling to how many times you can fold, if they did even a little work they could have found that ceiling and made appropriate balance changes, but no just literally delete reclaiming ingots.

Also disingenuous to call folding a cheat, would you say speed runner champions cheat? Do we take away their medals/Guinness world records and prize money because they operated within the bounds of the games mechanics and design?

Na man, nothing compares to the automaton mats for quite a few things when you can reclaim the ingots. They just cut a HUGE amount of options out of the game.

Fix is not what happened, Devs removed a key mechanic of the game to be able to get ingots from the Autobots. To fix they could have made sure the stats revert back to the base ingot or reduce the folding stack.

So they actually just flat out removed the Reclaimed Ignot recipe? That's the laziest fix possible. Rip movement speed metal I guess. Aintnoway in hell this game is done in 12 months with this dev team.

They removed reclaiming, it was their mechanic to add or remove. We all knew the absurdaguns were going to get hit. I'm glad they didn't wipe us all back to 0. Sooner or later that will have to happen, it's part of the EA experience.

Would I like to see folding in the game? Yeah it was neat. Does this destroy the complex crafting system? No. There are still complex and weighted decisions to make in crafting.

Is this the final crafting update? I seriously doubt it, we don't use guilded things in enough recipes.

So give specific feedback, in their feedback forms, and keep playing. There is no cause for anger and no one's game has been ruined.. FFS It's not even a finished game yet.

He expressed his opinion so you are going to throw insults at the player about throwing insults at the studio, who made a lazy decision instead of putting the time into the thought process because a few people were being loud, and the happy people were not being loud, so because happy people don't complain, you are going to express your opinion that others opinions don't matter because a lazy fix that was created because happy people don't complain, those now unhappy people don't get a say because you need more room to troll. But folding stuff over and over to create items which at their level created become godlike.. sure you can try to convince us you'll only use it in single player, you'd never use it in coop, you'd never make a video or stream it.. for others to use.. but ultimately someone will. They are the ones ruining the game for you.. not me. I just want a fair, open and vanilla game. Why am I the one being abused here? What is wrong with wanting a fair game?

Now I'm not blaming you, accusing you... or claiming to be the victim per se..

So let's let the developer decide. Their game.. afterall.

For home building with gilded lumber and carved stone, use a Settler card to double the output of lumber items.
Significantly improves the craft speed.

Second, do not make your own carved stone.
Go to a Desert realm and look for the POIs that use the Desert Buildings. Can confirm its the right ome if you use the dismantle menu to check it's name.

Set it to Easy because building health scales on the Realm Power.
Now grab a maul and go to town ripping those desert buildings apart.
They'll drop carved stone and bricks in abundance. I got 3 stacks of each from a single POI that took 5 minutes to shred.

Have the Setttler Card at home making Gilded Lumber while you're out doing the smash and grab.
Though you can do the same trick to the houses where you buy the Bhutan etc sets
So you can just go full home wrecker to build your own house if you want to.

Well, that sounds like an exploit to me. Lets remove buildings, and tools. Deserts are OP too. Lock them out. Settler cards need to be nerfed too. Save time? That sounds like killing things too fast, and looting things too fast. Crafting things too fast needs to be stopped. Anyone else happy about anything in the game? Lets get a list going of things to nerf and remove. I heard you can get fish with a fishing pole. Thats just OP food. Getting something from nothing. Has to be stopped.

If sad people didn't complain about the guns they would not have focused on the guns. There are a thousand things to fix before the guns, like mob pathing, NPC pathing, Quests getting bugged, harvesting nodes ghosting, quests being available WAY before the materials to complete them are, never ending rain storms, or night time or day time, with no relation to biome, t1 everything everywhere always, being able to get into gated areas by dropping in from the ceiling, so many things to fix first. But someone is enjoying something, which might get the studio sales, because it gets free advert time on youtube, well we gota put a stop to that first.

Yes, speed runners are cheaters and exploiters. And they know it. Bugging through walls, flying skipping levels, etc. They are using all these knowing full well it was not intended, for example, that you can just skip a level by jumping into corner B at exactly the right angle.

Take a deep breath, can you tell us where the taking away of your cheats and exploits hurt you? We have a nice doll, so you can just point. This post is like watching Carrie's head spin while vomiting BS (not sure that's possible but worth a laugh).
