Saw people having their workers in one different bed, so its possible but i guess its not optimized since this is a new feature that will be updated from this point
Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Would love to build dedicated houses for blacksmiths, Woodcutter, Miners weavers etc. Spread my town houses rather than concentrate everything near each other and limit FPS. So assigning beds would be a great addition.
I haven't tested to see if a door does anything... but I had bedrolls down. and a "Work house" build they would use it. I build a new Tudor house with a Simple bed and a small desk with a chair... one was sleeping in the bed and one was sitting in the chair.
So it is not the first bed they found. As they have seemed to sleep in different bedrolls. I had 5 bedrolls and 3 Estate Hands. They would sleep in "my" bedroll. If I moved a bedroll they'd sleep where the bed roll was, like it was still there.
When I moved all my benches to my new workshop I build rooms for each bed roll with lighting.
The bed rolls are all comfort 4. The Tudor house bed has a comfort 5 so now they ignore the bed rolls and rest in a chair instead.
So it seems that if you want your Estate workers to not use your bed.. make it so your bed is the same or lower comfort to theirs.
