First impressions from the demo

the theme was interesting, so with a demo, it seems like a no brainer to try.

i attempted to download twice or thrice, finally finishign the 40 or so GBs of download to play.

first thought. the loading menu tips were ok, but the loading time was not visibily apparent, it was hard to see that the game is nt locking up or staling and that yes the game is loading and not froze. problem 1

in the initial dream world the game feels like minecraft with the tool bar at the bottom. vampre the masquerade from the health hud and such ui.and the items you collect reminds me of the objects from omikron the nomad soul. all good games and greatly inspired here.

problem 2, upon exiting the dream world via portal i was attack by a mob of zombies or whatever. i died just after the portal loaded so from then on i believe the death audio such as the heaving and out of breathe audio was apparently stuck on loop. thats problem 2

the rest is good, great even, if continued to be expanded upon and that other reviews are listened to. its a shame i couldn't see the demo with multiplayer glory, but i did respect the almost morrowind tes feel i got from the grand environments and the first quest mission or task to get the knife, as well as the dedication it took to make cutting treees possible and mining rocks, it looks lovely.

all i can say is maybe the size and draw of the menu ui of containers and such be lessened so its not in your face and taking away the immersion. plus the in game menus look a bit like a HOG game menu, flashy and pretty on the surface but thats it, it looks okay but could do with an efficiency improvement. so ui and ux dvelopment might be good to dvelop further.

otherwise this game looks great, the enemies look a bit bland and same same so far.

but the framework for the game is there, its a matter of building upon an already great idea and theme.

meaning, more outfits, more customizations and just more nightingale. i look forward to seeing this game more when it has developed a bit much more.

right now i worry about stability issues, some bugs and some gameplay lacking.
