Thats interesting.
Think if its not intentional thats where EA kicks in. Thats also interestin how far its playable without the "guide".
...and they want to rule the world...
^^
You need to use the three portals that aren't open. You can make the cards for the Gauntlet portals.
Desert = Find the Sun Giant. (Use your looking glass) kill it and loot the ingot
Swamp = Just go to the massive robot and kill the Fabeled Duke, take his oil
Forest = Look for the tree guy it tells you that you need to kill with the looking glass again, make sure it's fabeled.
The game does a piss poor job telling you what to look for, it's fun but I 10000% agree.
I just wanted to tell you that your venting is moot. If you pay attention to dialogue, it LITERALLY TELLS YOU how to do this. We just finished going to all 3 portals, because you're getting things for Nellie, which is also a quest. Never had any confusion or questions and certainly didn't need to search outside of the game itself for how to do something.
Don't blame the game or the devs because you refuse to pay attention to very obvious information.
Also, case in point with idiot above me (Valor) you don't need to KILL anything, which is the entire point of the quests. Fairly certain the only reason the Hallowed Moor even exists is to give you quests on how to create offerings to get the things without having to kill them. Again, the game tells you EXACTLY what to do. Lack of reading comprehension skills is on you guys, not the game.
Except for the shack set. The shack set was nice and quick. I liked the shack set. If I just wanted to build one big base and be done with it, I'd be firmly opposed, but it took so much less time that I ended up skipping the ornate tier of gear entirely.
If you want to complete all the quests, you will have to kill.
..its surely not rare that people tend to put some stuff in the Cases somewhere and those bigger quests can be pretty annoying when you have to puzzle things togehther that might happen over time.
I think thats why many manage those things meanwhile with just having achieved something, than bringing 3 things from different places somewhere after maybe 2 weeks of playing.
The Case with the offerings, is the same with fishing, never did that so far, see them all around but what to offer? Got lost somewhere along the Journey til i have to jump in the cold water.
And yes, those very obvious infos getting parrtially lost by missing translation also.
And yes, it tells you, you have two choices, kill them or the friendly way. I dont need to comment this further, you have confirmed itself, so much about exactly, exactly is there but not everywhere, right around the next guess.
You should not forget that not everyone is so into gaming or your world of fantasy and can understand what abstract things you want us to do.
yup if you do it the "Humane" way you can get to the next bit but you cant unlock achievements.. Logic fail again from the Devs
While we are about it I can't be the only one wishing their was a way to get Grendel cloth whiteout turning them into chutney as well. Hmm?
The quests etc are OK but not very well thought out here.
Everything up to this point seemed pretty clear. But you these quest parts (which I can appreciate for being deeper and having different options to complete) are not well explained and I just fumbled around for a while before shutting off the game and taking a break.
I already had the gauntlets unlocked, and merely needed to open them at the crossways, but there was nothing that suggested I needed to do that so maybe they can revise the wording in this quest-line to make it more clear to thicker-headed players like myself.
You need brass, and at the same time it tells you something about legierungsbarren or alloy ingots, ...to translate it. It was the Messingbarr...
It took me some time to think the step how to get a legierungsbarren.
I have some more but...im new to this...
