Obsidian Building set is some endgame build requirements!

It looks lovely in the screenshots and it only costs 20 T4 essence so I decided to give it a go. But damn, these build requirements might just break me. My construction isn't complete yet and it already needs around 600 hybrid stone and 800 cut gems and 300 filigree and a few ornaments. Now I know why it was on The Watch. But my Regency set didn't have these staggering build requirements and that came from The Watch too. I thought I had a lot of items in my massive pile of storage containers but this is going to require some epic farming to complete I think. Has anybody else crafted an Obsidian building and how many hybrid stone and cut gems did you get through and what were your thoughts on this structure when it was done? Do you feel it was worth it?

Oh That's not as bad as some people were making it sounds like. Maybe the new worker mining stuff can help you with a couple NPCs? You can just make 5-10 benches for masonry and forge and just blast it out in a couple hours. I think there's a minor card that boosts output of masonry/forging. If you do all ur masonry in one realm and all forging in another it doesn't seem like it would be too bad

I do believe I will add a masonry NPC and I found the stone yield in Hollow Moor right next to the spawn to be very good. Its just kind of a pity after I'd switched to the snowy scene I now have to swap to the Quarry card to build it then switch it back. But i honestly don't have a massive stock of gems. This is going to completely clean me out of sapphires and diamonds to build I think. Thankfully it didn't specifically ask for obsidian otherwise it would be even worse.

Obsidian set is part of the new npc autofarm udpate too, so, people that is already on endgame has not used autofarm yet or for only couple of days now, when is a t1 thing, maybe this need some changes but i guess they are testing prices with the new set, if you start from 0 with the new autofarm for when you reach endgame im sure you have enough materials to build a decent base with obsidian, surelly things gonna go more expensive than before now that we got an autofarm

Workers cant fix the main issue - Hybrid stone
That would also be helped if the estate carins werent also bugged so T4 is as bad as T1 - 6 stations! T2 is better (or it could be upgrading just doesnt work)

The new tile set isnt the issue - the lack of mining any stone but sandstone is!

I have 4 guys mining tin and 3 mining gems. When I decide where and what I want to build. I should be ready.

Epic build brother! I finally completed mine but it isn't half this size of your- but there is the always the possibility to add more at a future date .

Great Build. Will borrow some ideas. The set definitely eat a lot of resources. Wonder how many days my character have slept.

Still building my Conclave of the Verdant Grove. Still not sure of the name. Survivor Work Houses are mostly complete. Now to build beds and go and find more survivors, Would recruit a variety but Druids and Hermatics mostly to show the mystic nature of the conclave. So basically survivor default gear will play a role.

Will slowly plan out the mage tower next to the grove and Realmic Transmuter. Might wait for triangular build pieces for easy circular builds.
