Onion spice?

I have 2 onion spice that I looted from somewhere, loads of onions, and onion seeds..
but no way to make onion spice myself:?

Is this an oversight?

Any time you see a road with nothing noted at the end of it, follow it. Many times there are corrals, abandoned bldgs, places with plants. Also any time you see a shed, even in the water, especially in swamp, go there, look for plants, around fixer uppers, defense, snoop around. Knock down crate piles, under them can be bag of seeds. Game rewards the curious.

Some plants have always been oil only, spice only or like sunflower, make both. Not an oversight, a dev decision afaik since game beginning.

Speaking of plants, can anyone tell me where to find sanguineberries? I have tried desert and ascended desert herbarium and only found snapdragon. Swamp got me tulips and forest got me various grains and vegetables.

Looking for tulips for hours ... you still know where you found them in the swamp?

The Grendel house (Quest, can't think of the name offhand) in the swamp has them.

I already picked them up at Danu's (I think that was her name) house. But then I deleted them from the inventory because I had no more space and thought I'd find them everywhere later anyway... doh!
I know I can reset the realm but I would be more satisfied to find it in a new realm (and gives me someting to do. ^^)

I have tried several ascended desert herbariums and haven't found sanguine berries anywhere. I have tried them on explorer difficulty, but that shouldn't matter anymore.

I believe Sanguine berries are Swamp aren't they?

I gave up on berries, none of the drinks seem better than beef wellington.

I use sanguine berries in my Hearty Stew. Unfortuanetly I do not remember where I found the seeds to plant and farm them.

Tulips are all over one of the zones, herbarium forest iirc, the RG forest with all the buildings up in the air. Many times they are under the buildings in a little circle or around what would be foundations. Before the patch anyway...

Yes, all 3 of mine are beef wellington, 1 humbab, 1 prey and I forget what meat I used for the 3rd...

I like to cook with fish for the extra damage. Also Dulcet Lapis for 10% crit... all other T5 ingridients I found so far are useless (Carnute ichor, Geist mushrooms have very bad stats) or bugged (Hoe-Flies stats say it should add 50 health, 50 stamina, 5% speed, but when used for cooking it doesnt add any stat to the food)

I tried the gloom swamps and they only had mist berries. Gloom deserts didn't seem to have anything.
