Endgame spoilers - Lawman quest

Anyone else completely abandon the quest between the reporter and the lawman after helping the lawman because progressing it requires that you betray the lawman's trust? It's still technically in my journal, but I stopped tracking it. I'd be curious to see the worldwide stats on that one!

If I remember correctly, you can turn in and name the lawman but there is a follow up quest where you do not need to give full details of what the Lawman is doing in the Realm he is.
