Iron ore: question

Hello, I have a friend who just spent 03h00 looking for iron ore, and he can't find it, so he's fed up, between the long loading time between each portal, maps....for the moment he's disgusted, do I need a special map for iron ore? knowing that I'm also going to go through the...Thank you for your advice.

Swamp biomes have iron ore.

If you look in the Glossary you can find each of the materials and it will list what realms they appear in, as well as what realm power is needed to spawn them. Iron is in swamps and I believe you need a realm power of 50+

Easiest place to find ore is in caves. Some are not marked and small, and others are little dungeon areas that have hope echos and bound spawns. Find those, in the swamp, and you should find iron ore. Rarely it will spawn on top of rocky hills. You can actually find them as low as Antiquarian realms, but they spawn more frequently the higher the realm level is.

Look in the swamp realm along the coasts and the small islands just off the coasts.

Mid tier swamp realms have iron in abundance and cobalt more rare. High tier (ascended) realms have cobalt in abundance and titanium more rare in the swamps (other type or realms, forest/desert, have other types of ores... Seemingly, desert has precious ores like copper/silver/gold..., and forest has ores more for range weps). I don't recall if low tier < 40 have iron in the swamps, but maybe someone can confirm that.

When you first create a realm, is should tell you at the top of the screen what level the realm will be, based on the Major card and difficulty you have it on

once you create the cards, you can sort of see their level in the cards tab (inventory screen). It's located beside the Essences tab. If you already played a card in a portal, you can travel to that realm and when the realm is loaded, it will show you a summary of the realm you are entering... There is always a number either up in the center of the screen, or on the level card you played... PRO TIP: rename your portal to describe the cards you played on it... Examples: SWAMP Hunt 70, DESERT 220

Best Iron farm for me was Swamp Gloom lvl70 its the main resource mineable nodes with cobalt as the 2nd resource rng be with you!

Picked up about 200 iron ore from a basic Herbariam Swamp 50 last night...(still farming essence for upgrades using a Treasury Eminent card before I crank up the level)... and found it walking the outer shores, as was said above.

(unfortunately, I also wanted at least 20 Zinc ore, and never found any... then I read that its in swamp sub-50..... sigh)

I tried ... salt and coal ... didn´t show up.

Salt is in all levels of the desert and coal is usually in underground areas of any map, though I find it more at the lower tier maps. I knew coal wasn't on that list since I've looked myself, but didn't know salt wasn't either
