I’m having difficulty trying to setup a new base.
I have a couple questions.

1. Can I use any realm as my respite? Or does it have to be abeyance?

2. I’ve crafted my portal out in forest and abeyance cards but it just teleports me right back to my base like the portal is a mirror right back to my dimension…..

Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

1. I am pretty sure yes it has to be abeyance since you will always TP to a cairn in your abeyance realm. If you make a cairn in any other realm it always has the "make respite" option greyed out when setting the option on the cairn

2. If you want to TP to a cairn in your abeyence realm be sure you have selected it as respite under the cairn options. You can have multiple cairn in your abeyance realm, but only one can be your currently selected respite (TP)

Edit: soon you can build teleporters and respawn points outside of your abeyance realm.

Is it possible to re roll the abeyance realm? I keep getting teleported back to the OG realm when I put in forest biome and new abeyance card.

Yes, but it's gonna hurt.

You need to open a portal to the same kind of abeyance realm your currently using as respite, and then choose the "reset" option down in the lower left corner. That will ERASE the whole region and roll it again. Once again, this supposedly erases your old one _first_.


You would potentially lose everything you have built or left in your abeyance realm. it would erase everything. All buildings, all storage chests, all your stuff. You'd have to dismantle everything (losing lots of materials) and then cart it all off to another realm.

You can load up your recruit with stuff, and potentially go to another realm and build chests there. Then store stuff. Repeat to move stuff back.
