Trapper hat?

Any idea how to unlock the (gs 40) trapper hat?i have all other pieces, but cant find how to craft the hat

if you have the recipe - go into crafting and find the hat, click on it and it will tell you which station and which augment you need to craft the item.

Having the same issue where I have all the trapper pieces unlocked, but not the hat. Not sure if I need to keep working the Release the Hope locations to get the recipe. I have checked the Traders in the Glossary, but can not find the Trapper Hat recipe yet.

I am confused about this too. Is it a recipe you have to find? Or does it appear automatically based on the arrangement of your crafting stations? I saw a short video online that seems to imply it relates to configuration of crafting stations rather than finding a recipe.

Chances are the hat comes as a bundle for the trapper set, meaning you got it already but don't have any means to unlock it?

EDIT: Oh it actually doesn't exist, it's a set without a hat.

It does exist, if you select the "Show Unknown" button at the top of your Sewing Bench's crafting menu, you'll see the Trapper's Hat appears in the list. But it seems to be bugged. At least that's my opinion on it.

I've seen videos, and websites, that claim you just need a Refined Sewing Table. This would make sense, as all the other Trapper pieces require only the Refined Sewing Table to craft. So some people are gaining access to it, but others are not. Kind of like the tutorial bug, where some people can leave the swamp with no issues, while others (like myself) were forced to delete their characters and start again to get past it.

As of right now, I'm waiting for a friend of mine to get back into the game, to see if he can make the hat. He seems to have god level luck when it comes to games (he catches Pals in Palworld, with a 6% capture rate, on his first try on a regular basis. That's how crazy his luck is.) So, hoping he can gain access to them and make me one.

I'm having the same problem. No trapper's hat recipe, but I have all of the other trapper pieces. If I click "show unknown", I can see trapper hat recipe; it requires 2 felt, 2 refined fibre. I can't tell if it requires any augmentations becuase when I opend the "craft" tab, it is not showing trappers hat, only simple head wrap.

Same here, no trapper hat. Thought i was missing something too but if it's a bug.. Ahh well.

I think it's more likely that they just haven't made it available yet for some reason. There are multiple items that'll show up when you click show unknown that you'll not be able to make.

On my current play through the set has just popped up and I made all pieces Except the Hat craft button which stays greyed out even when I apply the correct mats, even switched them around to see if maybe my choice was found wanting. Nope, nada. It effects GS and elegance quotient. Sad times.

The hat is now shown as part of set so it does exist, in theory anyway.

Has anyone been able to make the hat? Anyone? Just curious, for science.

I think the only ones that could make it are the same ones that can make the Founder's hat and umbrella.

And who might those people be? Why have it as a part of the set, show it at crafting station then not have it available? Some days this game is pretty frustrating at such a base level.
