Disconnected due to inactivity

You have to move around occasionally. One of the beauties of on line only, you get das boot. I remember in ESO it was 15 minutes. There should be a note somewhere that tells us what the time is - or maybe someone can test and report back. Hint hint.

Somewhere between 15-30 minutes. Had my first one after going for a smoke yesterday and came back and saw that.

I think the timer, or system is broken. Last night, went afk, made some food, talked to other house people, made a whiskey sour, came back like 20 mins later was still online.

Played for a bit... then...

Got a message on discord tabbed out, read it, tabbed back in, took one step, kicked for inactivity. I was tabbed out for 30 seconds tops.

So their inactivity timer is busted to some degree.

People fish? That mini-game is the worst. I rather WoW fishing or Stardew Valley. It took me forever just to catch one fish and then it disappeared. Wasnt on my hotbar or in my inventory.

When fishing you are constantly clicking the left mouse. So buttons are indeed being pressed.

ignore all the bars except the red health bar on the fish itself, point the tip of your fishing rod at that bar, keep left mouse button pressed. I doubt it's supposed to work that way but it does. That said people who add fishing to the main quest of any game should be made to eat fish all day every day for a year.

edit: Oh, and the fish drops at your feet. Took me a while to figure that out as well :D

I just stepped afk, came back and was on the kicked for inactivity screen. Logged back in and still had 6:40 left on my food buff. Meaning at the very least I had pressed F in game 3 minutes before hand.

I actually, ran from one side of my house to the other, slept to skip night, then ate, then stepped afk. This inactivity timer is absolutely broken.

Interesting. I always tab out. But never for too long. Guess I'll find out how annoying the anti-AFK system is later.

I am crafting and moving furniture around. After about 10 minutes of this I get kicked while transferring stuff into a chest. Yet earlier I died, got up and went and ate dinner, did a few other things.. came back and used the 'Give Up' and kept right on going.. I was afk for a good hour of doing actually nothing while being downed.

That I would consider a bug and a bug report would be appropriate. Inactivity should just be that, not what happened to you.

Just got kicked for inactivity while literally running around the base storing items in my chests. Actively moving, and clicking, kicked for inactivity. Once the system decides you're inactive no amount of keystrokes changes its mind.

Devs... this needs fixed.

Yesterday I got das boot twice while making gear for packmule. Yeah, as we spend more time playing tetris with augments, fiddling with crafting, the system just doesn't recognize we are actually playing the game. Needs some tuning, sooner rather than much later.
