changing home realm?

is there a way to change the home realm ?
i dont like the swamp and would like to build a new base on another realm and call it home but everytime i buld the homebase thing and wanna return to my new desert world i get back to the swamp? did i do something wrong?

u can start another game or relocate to a new area (tp to a new area with cards in Abeyance Realms) forest is easiest u can only build an Estate in Abeyance Realms to call home (u can have multiple estates but only 1 u can go to at 1 time )

Recall only works to your abeyance realm. You can live anywhere (Though things might disappear. Apparently only the abeyance realms are SUPER stabel. ) you can sort of fix the issue by Build a portal in your abeyance realm, connect it to your Hard realm (antiquarian, astrolabe, what have you) then build a fairy ring at your base in that realm. Then when you recall home, portal to the new realm and you'll spawn whereever you put the fairy ring.

If you just want a new biome just to Abeyance +Biome card and move there.

if you like desert you can craft a new world with the Abeyance card and the build your beacon there if you like desert then use desert card if like forest then use forest etc

I also by mistake took swamp and would like to change. So i used Abyeance + forest biom card. build house and respite thingy there and thought this counts as having moved.
but nope. If i travel to my respite it teleports me back to the swamp one?

any tips?

Go to your new Cairn and select 'Create Respite'. This will make it your new home realm

Hold E at the cairn at your new biohome+abeyance realm, Then set it as the default Respite.

I've moved.

Put down portal on old realm. Open portal to anywhere. Set down cairn in anywhere and start moving your stuff to boxes on the other side of the portal.
Then destroy what you can in old realm and go to anywhere. Set portal to where you want to go.
If you are moving to the same type, don't forget to check the box that says "reset realm"

I finally got the antiquarian card in my abeyance realm. Went to the portal and used a forest realm + antiquarian card. Met the first explorer, built a new base, things were going well. Then, without thinking, I opened the map and clicked on the 'return to respite' button assuming that since I had just built a new estate, it would take me there and of course, it didn't. It took me back to my abeyance realm. Did I screw myself or is there some way I can get back to my other realm/estate?

You can get back there just by re-opening the portal back from the same gate you used. Just go up to the card reader and select 're-open portal'. Unfortunately, only abeyance realms can be set as your home realm at this time for.. reasons -_-

See, I'm trying to get a new forest realm because it's not very flat at all, but every time I try a new realm (even at the big portal) I just end up at the same realm I'm at
