We tried doing that, and it took my friend back to her cairn on her server. She had to build a cairn on my server next to my respite. That being said, I think I saw a card being sold by a vendor that allows you to travel to your friend's respite and vice versa.

Only if he invites you

if you open the social setting you can invite them to join a party. then under their name you get a invite to realm. that will pull them into whatever realm you are in currently including your abayance realm or another if you are out exploring and need help or if they want to get items from a realm they have not unlocked yet.

You can bought the "Estate Address Card" to the respite abeyance merchant.
Then you craft this card and give it to a friend. He/She can use it on a portal to came to your realm, even if you're offline.
BUT he will came by the portal of the realm (not one you build), so if your base is far away from this portal, it can be boring ^^.

PS : To give the card, you need to drop it on the floor and the other player need to take it.
PS2 : if you can, build a dedicated portal for your friend realm, so you just need one card and only reactivate the portal when you need to go to his realm.
PS3 : if your friend is online... invite, it's easiest and faster (but less immersive ). For this, go to social, make a group, then under his name, click on "invite to my world". You can only invite someone to your realm, not jump into your friend realm.

First off thank you all for the reply. However what i wanted to know was if my friends are in my realm, how can they fast travel to my base. Return to respite only works for the owner of that Realm.

I've not tried it, but can friends build a fairy circle in your realm? Fairy Circle acts like a fast travel spot for worlds that you do not have a respite in.

Yeah, you are correct. I just built one for the first time. You cannot teleport to a fairy ring, only respawn.

Currently if you build a respite on your friends realm. You're stuck there. Unable to return to your own realm, at least this is what's happened to me. All my progress lost. Not overly bothered tho, since we're playing together. Will see what tomorrow brings but at the moment I can't continue my own game, only his. I gave him my estate card and we started playing on my realm... then I asked him to invite me to his.. now i can't leave and I never got an estate card from him. I simply built my respite next to his.

If you progress far enough you should be able to craft cards for Abeyance Realm and whatever original "Home" biome you chose and use them in a portal and it should take you back to your original Respite world? At least this worked for friend of mine. (Or it's at least -A- home realm even if it's not your very first/original and should work as your new 'home' for all intents and purposes if you build your Estate Cairn there)
