T1 Essence farming advice needed

I have been trying to figure out how to farm up t1 essence but so far it has been real slow 8-10 per event site. I am looking for advice on how to best farm the t1+ essences?

There's a a few cards that will increase the amount of essence drops... at the expense of making it a lot easier to die.

Go do the Fae Tower, this reveals all locations in the realm.
Then go to the locations and do the puzzles. You get about 20-40 on the puzzles.

Play on extreme, you get more essence drops per site. I'm getting like 31+ minimal to ranges of 120+ on the higher level area

so realm difficulty does make a difference. I was debating on mass producing treasury cards and putting one down every time I enter a new realm. but It is still slow going that way.

Can't confirm it because I haven't actually paid enough attention, however I remember from doing a middling realm (Antiquarian) and doing all the POI's i came back with about 300-400 T1 essence, just done a moderate realm (Astrolabe) and came back with 800+ so maybe?
Hard to tell as I was spending some at the essence traders in both realms but it still felt like I got a ton more essence on higher difficulty realm.

do the fea tower starts u off with alot( all the instances are revealed ) theres a fae portal ( not sure cause all realms are different on new games) can get like 250 dont do the aid ones take to long defend u get like 42 occupy are easy 14 upgrades are done moving to the desert for the 3rd trail

Just do the PoI.s Level 20, 30 and 40 realms. If you can manage the Fae Tower in each realm, it will show you the PoIs of that map. And not you r 60-90 T1 essences and a Lotus thing. No XP so if you want to farm a level 20 map a couple times (do it then reset the map), you aren't doing yourself any harm.

how do you reset a map I completely cleared the forest antiquarian for example how would I reset that map?

if you open a new one (of the same type) in the left bottom corner are two squares, one for reset the realm complete and one for public.

And my advice beside the middle range worlds, go first to the fae tower and use a treasure card. You get a lot more essence and with a bigger range of tier

You can buy the treausre card reciep in the forest-supplier map (lvl 40)

There are occasionally sites with fae portals and a bunch of quests on the same area; those are GREAT places to get a lot of essence. (Those portals lead you to mini-realms that lead you back into the realm you left at the end of it, and they tend to have quite a lot of essence and stuff.).

You can get various traits like imbuements and charms that increase essence drops, as well as the treasure minor realm card. If you want essence, use those; it will help.

Lastly, I suggest just play the game, explore an extra realm - essence will sort itself out if you stop looking at it. It's like watching a pot boil; a watched pot never boils.

Try opening a portal, then just farm the bound using a chaos card to increase essence rates. And yeh as Falaris says above, if you clear one realm, goto another.. there's an unending supply of realms, just make ink/paper and cards..

Hard or extreme difficulty. Go to the occupation sites until you get one with a mini-dungeon. Complete that one for 600+ essences.

EDIT: After re-reading your post it seems you're playing on easy. Reward scale with difficulty. Play on hard at minimum.

1. Do realms on hard mode. Higher difficulty gives more essence.
2: Do the fae tower to reveal the map then go to the "Fae Portals" these are instanced dungeons that take little time and give between 100 - 1000 essence each.
