Cant Get Herbarium Card

Can't enter. Dunno what the gear requirement is even, I can get as high as 53 holding the spyglass. Don't have a quest for it either. I'm stuck and I have no idea what to do. Can anyone help?

If you don't have quest to get it you can't, you have to do the higher level forest first in all of its entirety of the quest line, also I think the game goes by your "passive" gear score, what you're at when you aren't holding weapons, could be wrong but for me upgrading my boots took my passive to 40 and I walked right in.

I did it. Got the quest for the first card, but not for the second. Went back to my home realm got the antiquarian card. Now I'm supposed to open a desert herbarium, but no quest to unlock that card. What did I miss?

First step of this quest get Astrolabe Card from Astrolabe Tower. Then keep looking for Herbarium Card in another realms :P

I think that's just a weird quest syncing issue. First you get the Astrolabe, then gear up to get the Provisioner, then after that you can get the Herb. You have to do it in that order as the quest dictates; the quest to open a desert Herb is an entirely different one.

You could be right chief, I didn't even think about it becuase I got somewhat lucky and my anti and provision dungeons were literally next to each other so I just did one after the other.

You can only get the herbarium card by following the main questline. Do astrolabe, then provisioner and then finally the herbarium site of power in your abeyance realm. You need enough gear score to unlock each in order.

Possible but i don't think it's that.
Before sending you to antiquarian you get a quest to have a gs of 20 and it validate with weapon/tool.
Also antiquarian world are lvl 20 (on normal).
You later receive a quest to up your GS to 30 before astrolab which open lvl 30 world.
Provisioner opens lvl 40 worlds.
So by that logic, i suspect herbarium opens lvl 50 worlds and you need a gs of 50 to enter.

im also having issues with the Herb card, i have done all of the sites of power, but cant craft the card.

Don't worry about it, do the Antiquarian, then the next one at 40, then puck will tell you to do the provisioner.. then you'll be directed to the herb..puck will eventually give you the refined enchanter table, build this then you can make the herb card.

If you're in a coop game, only 1 of you needs to have the gear score.. the rest can follow once you enter.

You have to have the refined enchanter's focus to be able to make the card

Check your abayance map you probably haven't finished the Herbarium site.

Try upgrading your enchanting bench, cards are tied not only to unlocking through quests, but the level of the crafting bench as well.

At this point I have to do the quest to get to the watch, as I don't see/haven't found a way around that.

True, only level is needed. Most can be skipped.

Level 60 is required to enter the Herbarium Power site, kill the boss and you can craft the item.. Then you need some workbenches and additions to craft the card, but you can now find it in the crafting menu and see what you need.
