Scaffolding?

Possible to get some sort of scaffolding,like Enshrouded has, that can be used for getting on our roofs while building? I can't reach the uppermost portion of my roof to insert the crafting materials. i've been trying to use some crude stairs but the game just wont let me do it. I can place them inside of my house, but not outside. It just doesn't want to let me do it.

Yes, there are things I can do to achieve getting on my roof. But it would be nice to have the scaffolding to walk up and down while building.

Agreed. this is a needed item. just figured this out as i misplaced a roof tile high up the wrong way and cannot get to it to deconstruct and fix it :/ along with the comment about inserting materials for the pieces.

Is there an easy way to deconstruct? Cause I haven't found an option to take something down, and just break it... 'cept there's a wall I cannot break. Gets to 1 health and then is invulnerable.

Scaffolding and ladders would be nice, but in the meantime have you tried using climbing picks to get up there?

Hit x to go into construction mode, then you can move or delete placed items.

No,I haven't tried the climbing picks,at all,yet. I didn't even think of that,to be honest. I've just been building the tent shelter next to my house and climbing on top of it to jump onto my roof. Hey,it works. Haha 😂
