What's the latency like for Australians?

Was fine for me. Only lag i noticed was building something it would take sometime from me using the resources for the thing to actual get built.

All three options give an insanely high ping from New Zealand, not worth playing at the moment

For an online only game, the server coverage is very woeful. Even if potential players are willing to put up with online only, they won't put up with such high ping/latency.

This will severely limit the potential market for the game.

I've had this one on wishlist for some time. It will stay there until the game can be played offline. It does look really good though. Hopefully the devs have offline in their plans.

I keep restarting multiple times, waiting 10+ mins and still not able to connect to SEA servers, I live in australia, why am I connecting to NA servers? Then I connected to my firend's server which was good ping for him and my other friend but I had 700+ ping??? What's going on boys? Btw its not my internet.

Because there is only NA servers for this game right now.

The servers seems to be running on a conservative setting too meaning it will have a slower response time even for NA players.

Looks like I'll be holding off on buying this until there's a server in Singapore, Aus, or NZ, I'm not interested in playing an always online game if I'm forced to connect to North America or Europe

Any update on what it’s like playing in Aus? I have 250Mbps down/20Mbps up. In theory if there’s an Australian server I should be ok. But I’m reading there’s no Au/Oceania server? Or just NA?

IDK where the servers are but i don't notice any ping at all where i am, but then im also playing solo so who knows, could end up being slapped if i join someone in NA i guess.
