I despise the insight puzzles.
There is no logic to them, just run around and come across some red markings. I normally skip these but now I have one in a vault with 7 markings, got 6/7 and now i spent 10 minutes looking for the final one before I gave up and quit to write this post. It's really not enjoyable to burn time with this, maybe a feature where we can spawn an attack instead. One that you can weaken by finding the markings.

Or maybe drop some hints, seriously this mechanic is just a time burner and not enjoyable.

It's a scavenger hunt. You may not like it, I find them an interesting diversion. Very rarely will you be required to do them.

I actually like them, adds variety to the puzzles and it goes with the fae/magic theme very well.

When doing the vaults, the markings have set locations they can spawn in and have a faint hum that can be heard if walking nearby.

Once you learn the spawn locations, they're actually incredibly fast with agility being slightly faster.

I have rarely had to wait for night to see the red glow from them. I swear sometimes the last of them don't appear until you finish off the first few, I know I looked in that corner before and it wasn't there. Really. They do form patterns though so eventually you will memorize their usual positions.

I think this is absolutely true. One of the puzzles I did with only 3 runes, i know I looked at one side of a pillar and there was nothing there, but looking for the last rune, it was on the side i already checked.

One of the articles I read before Early Access talked about needing to listen to the notes because the sigils appeared in tone order; I've had a few instances of swearing I could hear a note but there being no red glow then finding an obvious sigil on the second or third pass.

I've also had a couple of instances where I could see a sigil but couldn't seem to get the interaction prompt, so I wandered off to find other sigils, then could activate it when I returned.

I don't know whether it's deliberate or a but; however, given as Foxglovez says, they appear in set locations, having some of the puzzles require one to activate them in order would allow more ways to make the puzzles harder without having to just ramp up the number of sigils.

On the multiple story buildings now I start off looking for maybe one per floor then fill in the rest as I head back down from the top. There definitely are audible hints (not sure about note order as I have a tin ear) for lots of things in the game. Tricky devs.

Sometimes they don't appear until I'm very close. There was one on a balcony that you couldn't see but a few steps away, but jumping onto the balcony showed me it.

The puzzles are boring and too easy and take to much time to complete them as you have to wait on the multiple floors to see where the lights come on, same for the Rebuilding NPC quests for such a small amount of Essence that is just not worth it! ! ! it's all there just to drag your game out for a few more hours and give you something to do. This game is filled to the brim with stuff like that, you have to redo it to keep playing due to lack of content...

I stopped playing just because there is ZERO action ZERO!!! I kill everything in a flash and the map is ready !!! On any difficulty in any zone, so yeah, now I just wait until it's fully released and check in every now and then to see if there's a big content update...

I play last weeks Survival game now i love the MASK and at least it has a little more than a few puzzles to keep me going, also the building is AMAZING and its not limited like in this game, it has base invasions and triangular foundations and it also has very beautiful Armors and a lot of crops to tend to if you like that sort of thing
