Healing Companion?

So I'm really new to this and trying to figure some things out but online help isn't helping either ... How on earth do I get my companion healed up? She got a few hits, I gave her salve, nothing, made her equip the salve, nothing. I can't make her sleep or eat either. How do I get her to heal? She has been walking around a couple hours now and nothing happens.

it may not help much in things like bastilles of might, but in almost every other situation, if you can get yourself and your companion away from the combat for even a minute or so, the companion should heal pretty fast, indeed, faster than you yourself do.

She is not healing when away from any combat. Not even after an hour or so.

Actually I thought it's a bug of the health bar, or that the game got problems with the item lvl

have you talked to her? If she's injured, you need to approach and 'talk to' your companion, and that starts their healing
