Ubable to Craft Metal Ball Bearings
Perhaps I am missing something but I am unable to craft metal ball bearings.
  • I have the recipe for it.
  • I have the Refined Workbench
  • I have the Felting Bucket Augmentation (sitting next to the Refined Worbench)
  • I can see the Metal Ball Bearings Highlighted Red (available) under the Felting Bucket Aug.
  • Under the Guiodebook > Crafting > Ammo heading, I can see the recipe available, right under the .451 Revolver Cartridges.
  • Metal Ball Bearings do not show up when I am at the Refined Workbench.

Do I NEED to have the Excellent Workbench AND the Unsprung Trap available to craft Metal Ball Bearings?

If not, then I am at a loss.

try moving another augment away from the bench so the green line breaks. there seems to be a limit on how many augments can be active at a time on benches and affect their recipes. i had to move the felt bucket then another augment out just to make the pistol and ball bearings at different times.

That worked. Thank you. Had to move my workbench away from all the "stuff" along with the bucket. Too crowded I guess.

This worked for me thank you; i had to move the refined bench away so it had less modifications then moved the felt bucket near it and the option for metal ball bearing appeared. super weird.

When you view a crafting station, you can see little icons that represent augment slots. If they are all filled in, you know it is at the max, so you know you need to move away one old one in order to add one new one.

What I do is have only the augmentations in the room that provide 'permanent bonuses' to the stations. When I need an augment specifically just for a recipe, that one is temporary and is removed once I have finished crafting it. Doing it this way I know all of my crafting stations always have available augment slots for recipe access.

The only exceptions to that would be things I craft often. Those I also keep around permanently. Examples would be ammo and food items.

I've got work benches in two different rooms with different augments. Have ones augment slots full, and the other halfway. I also built those rooms specifically around looking at what augments I needed in the C menu. There's nothing in the room that isn't required.
