Vaults - The Watch.
There's 3 archs.. do they lead to 3 places? Or is it just 3 arches same place which is rng..

How do you know where the exit is? I'm always lost.. I get to middle areas and everything is dead.. everyone has left.. i get a msg on screen saying "reach the portal" i haven't even found the first exit...

If you just want to get T3 essence, the "easiest" dungeon to run is the fabled sun giant. It's the archway on the far left.

It's always daytime in the sun giant dungeon. The layouts are pretty straight forward, and you can run through them pretty fast. Bring climbing picks. One of the essence containers is up on top of some pillars. You can navigate a fiddly jumping puzzle to reach it, or just climb straight up the pillar.

The other two dungeons are always dark, and have really dark color schemes. Purple on black on black.

The dungeons all have a chest at the very end with different materials in them. Killing the bosses drops nothing. Their "loot" is in the end chest.

The Fabeled Sun Giant (left archway) gives 5x etched pellucid and 5x fabled sun giant bars.
The Fabled elder eoton (middle) gives fabled elder eoten wood.
The Humbaba dungeon (right archway) gives jana meat, jana bone, and jana hide. All of them are tier 5 resources with 30pt bonuses.

They lead to a vault themed after each of the 3 different biomes, each portal always leads to a vault for the same biome.

Sometimes people will rapidly rush though, just follow along - the actual rewards in the vault are all instanced, so you just get to take a stroll to the end collecting goodies.

How does one of these vault instances even "start"? I've been there once, saw a bunch of people just wandering around, some just standing there doing nothing. All in the gs of around 110 to 210 or so. I think I saw one person enter a portal in 5 minutes. Seemed quite confusing, but in line with many other parts of this game.

Those vaults are too hard.. and only give 75 essence i get nearly 300 in the watch.

I've played 126 hours and just learned how to reset a realm..

Vaults in Watch have several "rooms", connected through doorways with red crystal if puzzle is not solved, and blue color of crystal if you can proceed to next room. On map, You can see what corner of room will have that door. If door don't have crystal at top of it - that means this doorway leads to previous room, closer to the beginning of vault.

I guess you still don't know about reclaimed ingots. Poor soul...
Those private extreme level 220 Vaults opened by yourself will give you 800-900 T3 essence. But you can enjoy grinding I guess...

Reclaimed ingots? What's that all about? At what level are you grinding 220 vaults? I got slaughtered by the sun giant.. about 50x.. before eventually killing him and i only got 75 t3.

Yeh that part I get, it's the how do people know where the exit is.. is there something on the compass that directs them to it?

Google it, my lazy friend. 90% of players can one shot Sun Giant with 2-3m damage.
Past Fabled Sun Giant in Desert Vault near the portal there is always x8-9 70 T3 essences.
My GS is 270 now with all Druidic set at level 271 and 286 GS Pellucidic axe.

Yeh but they're using exploited cheese guns.. I know all about the stacking of stats.. to make giants die in a few shots.. but that isn't my cup of tea.. i prefer to play the game how the devs expect it to be played.

If I think I'm using exploits.. I'd rather start a new game from scratch then continue..

Use your map and put markers down on each objective to point yourself in the right direction. I always have to go back and shoot my gun to pick up the stragglers feels bad leaving people lost.

Be cool if they add in a text chat soon.

Then enjoy endless, repetitive grinding as I already said which is not my cup of tea.
You will change your mind after encounter bear or boar with 2m health and Bounded Minions with few millions as well.

It is a matter of learning, there are only a few different room layouts per biome, and while the actual puzzles change, the layouts remain identical, so once you learn what a specific room looks like, you can easily get out.
Of course, the map will also be of assistance, but really it is a matter of learning each layout.

That middle bit of middle dungeon, the moghs..the erymanthian plagues.. always getting stuck inside the map.. Never seen that map completed.
