chandeliers dont place on bottom of 2nd floors

like the title says, i cant seem to place any chandeliers in any room that has a 2nd floor above it.

Yes i had to replace 2nd floor stone with flat wood roof, ugly, bzt light is needed.

i cant seem to build 2nd floors at all in stone. has anyone figured out how to do this?

Stone walls can only be placed where they are above a lower wall section, base section or archway. No idea about wood walls :))) I went straight to stone.
edit: Just looked at screenshot... Appears to be the same for wood

Sadly you allways need a base first before placing, which is stupid. At least some structures would go w/o a base and look better.
