If anyone finds a way to color clothing please tell...
I'll be honest, i personaly am enjoying this game A LOT, but the lack of color for my clothing is probably my biggest heartache right now.... i spent all this time to get to a higher gear score only to turn out like this....

for me this is super dull and it honestly makes it hard to enjoy looking at my character.... and this is probably my biggest gripe with the game at the moment for me...

edit: so I used tier 4 swamp fibre to make my outfit again and it seems like the color has come back to the outfit a bit, here's how it looks now, it may be best to assume for right now, that higher tier fiber makes the default color come back. so using even higher tiers may make the color come back even more, i'll keep experimenting

The devs have said adding dyes is on the list but they aren't implemented yet, so at the moment you're limited to using materials that produce a particular colour (e.g. harpy hide makes red clothes).

Obviously, the materials that please your eye most might not be the ones with the best stats for what you want so it's a trade-off
I've passed up several better clothing options for failure to look good.
Bro at least your char is a woman, like 80% of clothing in this game is for females, my boy Walter the Bald looks like a Nun from Souls games

Looks like i found some new information involving clothing at least
I've also seen that material tier changes how it looks too. Personally I hate the current system of having specific items dictate the appearance, especially when there's currently no way to see what it will be. I also don't like having to sacrifice stats for looks, so hopefully they add a transmog/outfitting system with dye soon because yeah I hate the burlap sack look too lol

As he said, harpy leather makes items a dull red color. Works if it's hide, leather, or felt I beileve.

predator materials can make things bright yellow. One guy said he made a whole outfit, and ended up looking like paddington bear in a yellow rainslicker.

Elefas leather from the desert can make yellow with green details. I only every had 1 pc to play with, I refuse to shoot an elefas (I love them). But i used it on stirrup boots, and they were yellow, with green trim. Basically everywhere you normally see gold on stirrup boots it was green.

On some clothing items that have metal ingots in the recipe, the color of the metal changes the color of fittings. A tailed topcoat will have all the buttons, pocket trim, and metal rose clasp at throat all affected by the metal. First coat I made I used "pursuit" ore which has a bright metallic green finish. The base color of the coat is a light red, it looked hideous. I remade a second with copper and it looked pretty nice. Copper against red.

I am experimenting with other things to see if I can find blue. Heavy sigh.
