How do I finish the sun giant quest?
I killed the Eoden but decided to the quest for the Sun Giant peacefully after that, I found him in the desert after doing the quest but as soon as he reaches out my recruit starts beating him with the pickaxe, tried disarming him but he will use his fists instead.

I just upgraded all his gear ... guess I could dismiss him and find a new recruit. Is that the only solution?

That's a bit weird, disarming him worked for me. Still, the sun giant will be surprisingly patient. Holding the curio seems to trigger him asking for a trade, although it is a bit finicky.

If you killed one already, you should have a pellucid ingot already, which is what you need to finish the quest, technically - just hand it in to Nelly.

I meant, I killed the Eoden and decided to do the second quest peacefully. Puck gave me a bad conscience. (corrected in the original post)

Just disarm your companion and run around in front of Sun Giant until he stops. He'll put his hand down for you to trade then, and you give him the item and he drops the stuff on the ground for you.

Somehow succeeded, he would still attack unarmed but fortunately that didn´t cause the giant to attack me. Had to run around in rings for a little while and eventually it happened, do you know if this offering is something you can repeat for the ingots? Or whether I have to make a new realm for a new giant?
