And prepare to be baffled with colors. If it looks red and black, doesn't mean it will make that color. And it depends on how it's processed.
If you make leather out of predator tier 3, it often makes items a kind of dull brick red. But I turned predator 3 _meat_ into animal fiber, and then processed it into cloth and fabric. When I made clothing with it the color turned into dark slate grey. That surprised me.
Plus the devs are currently tweaking things a lot on colors. A tailed topcoat I made a week after the game launched was red fabric with copper metal accents. I gave it to my recruit. After I logged in after a patch, it was suddenly a pimpalicious purple with black triangles all over it. Next update, it's now this bright neon blue color on the sleeves turning into a muddy purple black splotches on the body. Same coat has changed color two times now.
Gotcha... guess ill figure something out about the color of stuff. Hopefully colors get updated in a coherent way lol
Thanks anyway
We're all hoping that. I have seen some reallllllyyyyyyyyy wacky colors on clothing lately. And even test items I made have changed colors from one patch to the next. Hopefully it settles down a bit.
But they've added tons of extra options now. I look forward to some kind of preview mode in the future, which would really help.
