More melee weapons?
I know it's early access and all so this is as much a question as it is a want.
Will there be more melee coming?
I know the Victorian age was the age of walking sticks and umbrella and swords etc were not common but I also have seen that cane fighting and umbrella fighting was something some gentleman learned.
Don't know if it was ever used but it would be cool to use a cane or umbrella as a weapon too...and the umbrella is already in game.
The walking stick could also let you jump a bit higher or be unscrewed into climbing picks.

Cane sounds like it'd be a great magic-first item.

Yeah the fact we literally use harvesting tools for weapons is a major snore fest. This game lacks so much its pathetic.

More weapons are on the roadmap. For now we have only the hammer as melee weapon. The tools are okay for combat and i used the axe a long time as weapon. But after tried a hammer, i will never use the tools as weapon again. With the charms of brutality and ferocity (cause the hammer don´t crit) my 287 gs hammer make up to 30.000 damage without the ingot exploit.

You mean the repair hammer? I would never suspect it as a melee weapon.

I kind of like that the axe and pick make good weapons, as we have just 5 slots for weapons. They would have to have more slots too to have more weapons at this point.

There is a big two handed sledge hammer looking hammer. I have one but haven't used it.
I'd prefer a cane or razer sharp top hat before a hammer . Just wouldn't be gentlemanly of me to use a big Ole hammer lol.

Not the repair hammer. This one:

There are augments for dagger recieps, but haven´t found how to get them. They are different to the hunting knifes and could also be a primary weapon.

Ah, the maul. I've tried it, but it swings so slow. I tend to miss a bit and one miss and then I'm open to attack, so it doesn't work well for me. The axe is the one I like the most, as it can be swung the fastest.

The way this game relies so much on the umbrella I think that is something that needs a militaristic conversion.
