What is with this Jana?

I went into a vault with one other person. Well, they were there. We got to the Jana room, and got our butts handed to us non-stop. I will say, this was my first time. I would manage to get hit in here, or there, if I wasn't mucked up in the swamp water with disease, or getting batted around like a tennis ball. Checkingmy vids, I died 65 times and managed to get Jana down to 50%. Then Puck showed up, called me a loser, and to make it worse, then the game added 15 harpies. By then I was alone. I spent over an hour and a half, to gain 55 t3 essence...BULL SH------- Way to OP compared to skill level. Not all of us made cheater weapons

It's doable with a full team.. quite easy with default weapons, the problem is when there's noone.. in my last jana the moghs got stuck in the roof and we couldnt even get to jana.

You don't need cheater weapons, get the doublebarrelled shotgun, make it using Pursuit ingots and t3+ swamp wood. Make some elemental ammo, cold works well on Jana.

Shoot her in the head.

I think you are finding that the game just doesn't work very well for the vault if the player count drops too low. The vault is designed with 4 or more players in mind (I think maybe 8 maximum).

When I was doing it, over 50% of the players had exploited gear. It was a crazy speed run and I only saw the end boss maybe 1/4 of the time. It was always dead before I could even get there. Mostly one shot dead I suspect. I think I killed it once with my exploit crafted pistol.

Yeh I just go for the free essence and coal now.. sometimes I even get to shoot the giant in a mad shotgun dash... with 23 hps left..

Its a group boss if your gear is below 200. But if you get good weapons/gear you can easy kill jana solo. Use resist potion to handle the miasma, heal spell to protect yourself and if you stand under jana she can´t hit you. I´m everytime under her belly and use my melee.

you can adjust difficulty and get the same materials.unless you are talking for the easy level.with max level items i find easy to kill jana on hard.i have killed the eoten on extreme alone and the giand on medium.

You can run across the entire room, and into the exit corridor. You can then fight from that location, using it to retreat into when you're wounded. Also keeps the harpies off your back too.

sounds like you need to gear up a bit lol, a decent axe and a few healing pots make Jana soloable, a challenge, but doable.

What challenge? With dauntless axe is literally 3 hits on easy mode.

level up a bit more get more practice under ya belt

I made basic winchester rifle (14 shots) with pursuit ingot. no special folding. I use T4 wood and use Charm of sniper, enhancement of range damage, critical damage, and range

kill it solo with 13 shots (to the head and body cause I miss the head sometimes) Average 15 shots (normal or ice bullet when I remember to change it)
As for Sun Giant, I shoot the medallion (average 16 shots - normal or ice bullet)
Giant Tree - 10 shots (fire bullets)

Edit: The first time I kill with 13 shots, but on many runs, average at 15 (one reload naturally) but it is very doable.

I did farm a lot of T4 fiber to make my clothings. normal vault run, I use Quake (you get one for free for finishing quake mission) and I abuse that bad boy like there is no tomorrow ;) it knocks things down under normal mobs and I stab with my dagger (backstabbing charm on it) works great and lots of crit.

No, this is BS. After 4 hours yesterday, doing vaults...I got a total of 62 t3 essence. Today, I just spent 45 minutes in one....no one else ever showed up. Just me. Again. I got killed 8 times by a spider. I managed to kill 3, maybe 4, of the lowest level creatures. Those big ones with the hammers, always 2 of them. That completely regenerate when you die and come back. I haven't killed a single one of them. It is like since the update a few days ago, I am unable to accomplish anything. In the last 12 hours of play, I have died over 200 times. In the antiquarian realms, before the update, good essence. Now, even with treasury eminent, I do a musical site, do it wrong to farm. Kill all, get no t3, do it again, kill them all, NO T3. After an hour of farming a site, I got a grand total of 5 t3 essence. When I solved it, again, with treasury eminent, in medium. I got 8 fricken t3. That is 13 t3, in an hour of the game. To get the Winchester recipe would take me over 120 hours. I know there is a constant balance. But let me make this clear, I killed and got more drops, when I was all blue, now I am purple, and I get my ass handed to me EVERY TIME.

Ok. So.... what is your equipment? You should have farm a decent gear to make with T2 (rugged stuff) what is your gear score?

Do you use magic? Do you have different weapon ready to cast spell quickly?

My weapon hotbar consist of
Dagger, Axpick (I like this more for mining/tree chopping), scyth, Climbing picks, and rifle (I was using 2 shot for the longest time)

Dagger spell - Recovery and Beast detection for the longest time until I got Quake (before I use swarm)
Axpick - recovery, Oberon, Regrowth
Scyth - recovery, Dispel, trap spell (I forgot the name)
Climbing pick - recovery

all my gear enchant with either melee dmg+, range dmg+, str+, range+ (which ever is applicable)

I am able to do normal for a while (medium) in my own little portal for a while to farm more material to make decent armor (you need it) with Health+ injury resist+ (keep in mind all rugged)

Then I start farming vault. just running in and smacking stuff will get you killed. you can solo it (I done it plenty of time)
it is about playing smart and use Recovery a lot, you can switch weapon, hit r, hit button (hold it for higher level but sometimes you just need a quick cast) while strafing and dodge to cast trap, swarm or quake (when you get it)

keep in mind this is only level 100, so if you have equipment score above 100, you are good.

You can farm T3 essence in your own portal. I usually Bee line toward the tower, unlock POI, and then go for the intelligent/agility one and get 15-22 T3 essence for upgrades my rugged then go into Vault.

It is harder now (that I agree) without the exploiter, but it is easily done with shotgun and rifle and a lot of recovery spell ;) (notice that is my fave)

note: I use dagger and umbrella combo A LOT because of the sun Giant. my dagger is not folded just normal ingots specifically for melee+ (pellu something)

guys what are you talking here?what gear score do you have?it's like i'm playing some other game.make some decent gear score and everything is one hit.(not the boses but they are easy too)if you go with 100 gs there ,,,,,then what to say.

only if you used the ingot folding exploit.

I have a Dauntless Axe that does above 2,500 damage and it takes a LOT more than "3 hits"
