How to defend villages

So when piglins attack my villages I sit on the fountain in the middle and never move and they don’t even reach my walls… The issue is when they attack 2 villages at the same time which ever one I’m not at will be destroyed. The strength of the piglin forces doesn’t matter. If I defend one the other dies. If I go to the other one after I spawn into a flat base with around 20% left on the fountain. It’s makes no darn sense… I’ve lost so many villages like this when it should be easy to defend without even being present…

Hate to say this but build better walls. It's a rts game bra think use that brain if u layer 2 walls and put towers in the center the make sure to upgrade those towers and walls to stone ie masonry also make sure to place Carpenter around your walls. Doing this will ensure victory. I'm enjoying the Xbox game pass version

Did you even read my post or did you just blindly answer my question? Cause it clearly says I afk at the base and they don’t touch my walls but if im not there they flatten it.

bro build better defenses then its that simple what ever your doing your doing it wrong cause i have no issues leaving my bases to go fight piglins like ive already compleley taken out the mushroom piglins and i was getting notified non stop that my bases where being attack but sure enough there fine. i just use my bases as a resource harvest i rarly need res and im not being a troll you need to build better bases that can defend them selfs its not hard to do my man

Last time I played it seems to be an issue with the village defenses not holding regardless of how strong they are if you're not participating.
But it might actuolly just be a game bug and not happening to everyone that could also possibly be it

you can think what you want i know that i have zero issues in my play through only issue i have is that it be better having more than 1 person playing. again im not trolling im enjoying my time playing but i am playing on the xbox game pass version so steam might be different. but idk
