No sound on steamdeck
I bought this game earlier this week because of the sale and the new compatabilty for steamdeck but I've had no sound the entire time I've been playing so far on steam deck. I played the demo on my pc so i know there should be sound but cant figure out what the problem is. I still have regular steam sounds like the achievement sound when I accomplish something in game but no sound effects or in-game music occurs at all. My sound settings in game are at max I've checked multiple times. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it!

Hey sorry to hear you're having issues with the audio on the Steam Deck - I've just checked on my OLED model and I'm definitely receiving sound on the latest update to the game.

Can I ask some follow up questions to help see if we can get to the bottom of it:

- What display are you using (borderless / fullscreen)?

From the Horticular game page in your Deck library, go to the Cog icon next to the game controller > Properties > Compatibility)

- is Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool checked?
- If so try changing to Proton Experimental if you're not already / or try unchecking the checkbox. This should cause an update to the game and swap you to the native Linux version.

Thank you for getting back to me. I always play in fullscreen mode.

I was not using the force compatibility tool, when i turned that option onto proton experimental the game did update and I was able to hear the in game music when I booted up the game. Thank you for helping me with this. If there's any other information you'd like to know about my game or setup to help others with this problem in the future let me know. Thanks again!
