Can I ask some follow up questions to help see if we can get to the bottom of it:
- What display are you using (borderless / fullscreen)?
From the Horticular game page in your Deck library, go to the Cog icon next to the game controller > Properties > Compatibility)
- is Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool checked?
- If so try changing to Proton Experimental if you're not already / or try unchecking the checkbox. This should cause an update to the game and swap you to the native Linux version.
I was not using the force compatibility tool, when i turned that option onto proton experimental the game did update and I was able to hear the in game music when I booted up the game. Thank you for helping me with this. If there's any other information you'd like to know about my game or setup to help others with this problem in the future let me know. Thanks again!
