"Device anomaly detected. Exiting game."

It just started this weekend after I updated the game. The game would boot me back to the main menu a few seconds after landing.

I already tried not playing with MSI afterburn and rivatuner on, verifying file integrity, and reinstalling the game but the problem persists.

And no, I do not cheat.

Anyone have a fix for this? I tried googling but most of the fixes i found are for mobile, not PC.

Same issue. Just start happening today and it's annoying. Have they figured what causes the problem? I never installed anything on my computer and NO, I DONT AND NEVER CHEAT as well. This is frustrating, I can't find any fix on the web.

I also had my account permanently banned because of this error and I don't see any support from them. I play at an internet cafe, a public computer, not a private computer

From the looks of it, I've been false flagged. I dunno if it's a ban because I could still play but only for like 30 secs before I get booted.

Looks like I have to wait for the next update and see if it fixes it for me.

It's always a few seconds after getting into a match. So it's normal behaviour in a sense.

AFAIK, the device anomaly generally means these things :

- A program is trying to do something in the Farlight 84 client (Usually cheating software, but sometimes it's a very paranoid anti malware/virus
- A program is trying to close down or tamper Easy Anti Cheat.
- The Farlight 84 program is unable to find Easy Anti Cheat.

If you are actually the exception and getting hit by the anti tamper (Device anomaly detected) , I suggest you go to support and ask for help there.

You got any idea how to make it find easy anti cheat?

I never installed anything in the past week. Only since the updated the game this Saturday did I start having this problem.

I never get these issues, but then I am really careful with my computer and very picky with the stuff I install on it. So thats probably why.

It was working fine last friday. Then on saturday there was a patch and then issue started after that.

I recently other games with EAC and none of them are flagging me so its an issue with any program on my PC.

Guess ill just have to wait for another patch

I also didn't got this issue... UNTIL today.
EDIT: I resolved it by validating my other game that was running on EAC called Black Desert Online so I don't get this anymore

I finally fixed it.

I guess back during their update mid november, they added EAC and EOS.

Turns out I blocked EOS back in 2021, I unblocked it and it's fine now.
