Apex Legends is a Warzone rip off if you want to get technical.
What you don't understand is that no one fukn cares.
Apex Legends was worked on by the same devs who created the Call of Duty series.
It still stands that this game pretty much took a lot of the abilities from Apex Legends, and frankly I don't care.
The Battle Royale """"""genre"""""" is just arena FPSs that sacrifice a lot of things to make maps larger for the sake of padding. The maps are admittedly larger than what UT2004 could manage back when people was still making maps for it outside of some obscure sites, but the BR maps feel empty and needlessly large for the relatively low quantity of players (and bots) in them, compared to how many players/bots you could have at once in UT2004 (up to 64 with modding, in maps that were at best 1/10 of BR map sizes,) I heard someone managed 128 but never saw actual proof if it happening.
