Issue with launching the game

So I recently did a PC reset and after this reset I havent been able to launch the game. Whenever I do I get this message "The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b) Click OK to close the application."
I have searched all through google and have found several solutions to this issue, like downloading c++ redists and Directx redists. Doing some different stuff in regedit and nothing has helped. I reinstalled the game probably 10 times after trying different solutions and just nothing is working.
Before I got this issue I had 2 other error messages which was saying that I was missing 2 dll files they were called "x3audio1_7.dll" and "xapofx1_5.dll" so I tried downloading both of those files manually and put into my systems32 folder and all that did was give me the 0x000007b error.
At this point I feel lost and really sad that I have no clue how to play again since I really enjoy the game.
I did send an email to the Farlight84 support team with screenshots and information about my problem so maybe they can help me but wanted to see if anyone on here could give some help maybe someone had similar issues.

Don't worry, I have the solution, I also had that problem in other games, I don't know what operating system you use, but that error is due to the lack of some DLL files, if you already know what they are, and you already installed them and it didn't work, it must be because the computer does not recognize them

I solved it by updating windows, or downloading the windows update that includes those DLLs for some reason sometimes the system only detects them that way

You must investigate which windows update brings dll files or in which of them the missing DLL comes... and install it, all windows updates can be found on google and can be installed manually

If you don't know which of those DLL files you are missing, check in the farlight installation folder, that is, you go to the folder where STEAM is installed, then to the folder -> Steamapp -> common -> Fartlight 84 and inside that folder look for all the DLL files of the game, once you know what they are, you have two options

1) you search in google for the windows update that has these DLLs and you install it on your computer manually, for example you search for "Dfc90.dll windows update" in google and there you look for the version that you have and install it

option 2) look for the DLLs in the farlight 84 folder, download them manually from the DLL files page, and you will copy and paste them both in the farlight 84 folder and in the System32 folder and the SysWow 64 folder, remember that in System 32 and Syswow 64 use 32 and 64-bit architectures, so you must install the corresponding version of each DLL on them, 32-bit for Syswow 64 and 64-bit for the other.

I recommend you create a restore point on the computer before doing all this process, after you have done the whole process remember to restart the computer and try to open farlight 84

in the worst case if nothing works anymore, try running this command in the windows cmd c: chkdsk /f /r
then try the sfc /scannow command
If after launching sfc /scannow it tells you that the computer could not repair some files, it means that the Windows version has some damaged dlls, therefore it is recommended to use windows update and let it update as much as possible, or directly reinstall windows with an iso image that comes complete with all the dlls, you can download that image directly from the microsoft page, it's free
