Whats with the microphone issue?

In the game setting it shows up with name of microphone in game settings but doesn't work in game. I have tried both open mic and push to talk.
I have to tried adjusting settings on mic and in sound settings on windows.
My mic is set to default on windows. No matter what I try it doesn't seem to work. never had so much difficulty with an in game mic. Anyone got any ideas? I have gone threw threads finding plenty of people with the same issue but not much in regards to solutions.

I had the same problem but don't have useful solution yet, maybe because fairlight mainly focused on mobile than a pc

Had the same issue. No workarounds. Output and Input issue ingame.

Thanks, I appreciate the responses. That's too bad the game is actually really fun but no comms is a real vibe killer.

i hear players just fine and i thin my mic works ok so far, game is fun
