Character stops moving randomly...

first of all, i really enjoy this game its slick and simple, really good battle royale game.
However is anyone else having the character movement bug? its making the game unplayable, every 20 seconds or so my character will just stop and i have to hit the key again to move, in the middle of fights its not a pleasant experience. my keyboard software is up to date, i have no controller plugged in, Farlight is the only game this happens on. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS DEVS i cant play anymore until its fixed

Can anyone help me, when i started playing i always stuck at the preparation stage, when the plane comes out my party is inside the plane without me, always stuck at the beginning, please help. i already re-installing this game for about 20 times, but same bug occurs. i don't know if this is a bug or my internet provider having issues on this game, i currently using Converge Fiber.

I have also noticed that sometimes stuff just stops.. same thing with reloading a gun I would have reloaded a rifle and then switch to other gun only to find the other gun is not not loaded now..

Or the other glitch of not being able to pick stuff up without reloading all your guns.. is annoying too.

In my case I closed my browser and other app that I don't need to run while playing, it suddenly fixed it, I also close the Epic launcher Hope this help !

Had all my presets set for ps5 controller via steam controller support game played great... added this beta controller support and now when I fire and move I randomly stop moving and have to hit the R/L direction on joystick to move again. A lot of other random movement issues with controller beta. PLEASE put in an option to turn it off and let us just use the steam controller set up. Its like the game bounces back and forth on which presets its using. The game is literally unplayable for me in its current status. I messed with every option i could think of to fix this. The command button indicators in game constantly go from the preset controller ones to the mouse and key board command indicators.

Turning off Steam overlay/ controller presets stopped the bouncing back and forth of what input the game was using. However now in order to play I have to use the controller configuration presets in game.. which all four options are Baaad.... please hurry up with the custom option so I can play the game again. I got to lvl 98 your first season then this crap started...

I just started a few days and this issue has been plaguing me as well. Tried disabling steam overlay and controller, doesn't help. Tried installing on two different SSDs, doesn't do anything. No controller plugged in. Not sure what's causing this issue but hopefully it can get sorted soon.

Adjust in game visual/shadows to the lowest and adjust upwards until it presents itself issues is with 1% lows for w.e reason im too lazy to try to go in details locking cpu/gpu speeds ,disable core isolation(windows userrs), run ram on default or tighten timmings can help to reduce the frequency but no way to completely eliminate (optimization issue)
Fortnite suffered the issue in the past with dx12

Also you may be experiencing a brief server timeout so flip a coin and hope you're getting the optimization stutter
