The Backrooms: Lost Tape contains a monster that you have to escape from, at the beginning of the 2 tapes. You have to find a code, then escape the monster... then, you are free: you are alone and can explore as much as you want. There are different levels in the Backrooms: Lost Tape (it's not only the yellow level or the Poolrooms...you have more) and you can't really get lost, but you have to do mini puzzle 2-3 times (turn off the light, find a code or an object).
POOLS is a walking simulator: no monster, no chase, no code to find: only exploration. POOLS takes place in the Poolrooms only (water and tiles everywhere, all the time). Sometimes you can get a little lost, but not too much.
Thank you very much! <3
