How to load / resume chapters?

I went through the game up to Chapter 9 before i went to bed, but now it opens back at page 1, and i can't see a way to resume.

I think you've either encountered a bug, or your game isn't saving for whatever reason. My game always auto loads at the same place I closed it when I last played. No manual loading required, and there's no save files to my knowledge, just the current play-through.
