Am I doing Triage wrong?
I never seem to get 100% on triage. When you talk and inspect a patient, any symptom that flags red. I assume this means life threatening needs immediate response? Although some are walking wounded. I've tried a mix and I can't seem to get the right balance. Is is based on interpretation? Or is there more to it?

Note, I've arrived at some scenes outside of the catastrophe scenario to find some dead patients but can't tag them with the black tag? Am I missing something?

Enjoying the game so far, makes a nice change from the norm of other sims. Sure it'll be so much better once a few things are ironed out

1. Shaun kind of mentions this briefly, but it's kind of based on vibes (which sounds insane, I know). The idea is you'll learn more over time how life threatening some conditions truly are, and your scoring will improve along with your skills as a paramedic.

2. This is a great flag, and I also think you should be able to tag standard Shift deaths with black triage tags. I'll let the team know!

No, some red items are not life threatning. The diagnosis matters: Venous bleedings are yellow, arterial bleeds are red for example.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Breathing issues usually red, 3rd degree burns seems to be red on the torso but it doesn't really matter anyway.
Well,,,,beside a game is never 100% realistic... as a paramedic I can tell you that every smoke intoxication would be treated like red. I can very sudden change from a speaking patient to a dead patient ;-) Every 3rd degree burn is life threatening.
Just 2 examples... But the community also needs to consider that this is international released and if it is created after American standards it will be far worse than i.e. German standards...
Like: Every patient has the right for Oxigen. It is already paid when the call came in.
An infusion would be actually a cool thing. I can't imagine anywhere in the world you would only give one injection of saline solution :-D

Just my 2 cents

Thank you for this perspective. The devs took many different region SOPs into consideration, as well as our group of international consultants. We tried to find the best balance we could so no one was outright confused by every decision, but maybe challenge them to think outside a box a bit more than they might normally have.

In the end, we wanted it to feel like there's not always one ABSOLUTE right answer, but more or less trends to start looking out for based on condition combinations. This is the primary reason why we gave players full agency to treat patients how they wanted to. We understand if not everyone vibes with that in the end, but that was our design goal from the beginning.
