We tried to add NPC driving, but there ended up being way too many reasons not to. Like, for example, Hospital transport times can be as short as 30 seconds, which means you barely had time to even acquire patient vitals. Instead, we're looking at ways to improve driving and make it a little more exciting. New sirens, separating sirens and lights, adding turn signals, adding blips/wails/air horns, and other ideas from the community.
In the meantime, though, some things you can do to make transport less cumbersome are in the Game Settings toggles, so maybe these can help you out a bit:
- Vehicle Collision OFF
- Pedestrian Collision OFF
- Vehicle Density LOW
- Pedestrian Density LOW
Also, the Catastrophic Events are really just pure rescue and treat, so once you unlock them all, that can also give you a lot of variety in treatment gameplay. I hope you can find a balance and still enjoy the game. As i said above, we'll ofc include more features over time, but it's a process. Thanks again for sharing, y'all!
