First above all, we want to thank you for sharing all your critical feedback with our teams. Ambulance Life is a major milestone for us, and we want it to be just as special for you. We are committed to patching these issues into oblivion.

Overview

Folks may experience crashes or freezes while starting up or playing Ambulance Life, such as the errors and statements we've seen below:

First of all, we are so sorry you're experiencing these issues. Because of the often unique nature of PC gaming, sweeping patch solutions may still not help some folks who are continuing to experience technical issues with their game.

We are committed to helping you individually, but we need your help to do so.

Our developers need technical details and sometimes a series of files to help identify why you are experiencing these issues and identify a solution. The more data and information we collect, the faster we can deploy solutions for you and others who may be experiencing the same issues but haven't reported them yet.

Troubleshooting Technical issues

The first step will be to evaluate a number of solutions or workarounds that other community members have reported as helpful for a number of situations:

1️⃣ Ambulance Life REQUIRES installation to an internal SSD. A tremendous amount of issues pop up with HDDs and using external SSDs or HDDs.

Transfer your game installation to an internal SSD natively using Steam:

2️⃣ Verify the integrity of your installation files natively using Steam:

3️⃣ Delete your existing Game Settings file and let the game re-create it:

• Close your game completely.
  
• Navigate to:

  %localappdata%\Sanka\Saved\Config\Windows

• Locate and delete your GameUserSettings.ini file.
  
• Restart your game.

4️⃣ Delete your existing Saved Games and start with a clean slate:

• Close your game completely.
  
• Navigate to:

  %localappdata%\Sanka\Saved\SaveGames

• Locate and delete every .SAV and .VDF file present.
  
• Restart your game.

Submitting Technical Reports

If the above solutions did not resolve your issue, please send us an e-mail with as much written detail as possible. If applicable, please also include assets which showcase your issue such as screenshots, videos, gifs, and/or Twitch/YouTube links.

💾 Obtain your recent Crash Dump files:

• Navigate to:

  %localappdata%\Sanka\Saved\Crashes

• Locate and open the latest crash folder which should contain:
  
  • CrashContext.runtime-xml.
    
  • CrashReportClient.ini.
    
  • UEMinidump.dmp.
    
  • This folder will also sometimes contain more than one Breadcrumbs_RHIThread_# file; please include all available.
• Attach files to your e-mail.

💾 Obtain your Game Settings file:

• Navigate to:

  %localappdata%\Sanka\Saved\Config\Windows

• Locate your GameUserSettings.ini file.
  
• Attach file to your e-mail.

💾 Obtain your DirectX Diagnostic (DxDiag) report:

• Hold the Windows key on your keyboard.
  
• Tap the R key to open the Run window.
  
• In the pop-up window, type: DxDiag.
  
• Press the Enter key.
  
  • The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will load.
    
  • If there is a pop-up window asking about digital driver signing, click Yes to proceed.
• Click the Save All Information button.
  
• Click the Save button.
  
  • The file should be saved to your desktop as dxdiag.txt.
• Click the Exit button.
  
• Attach file to your e-mail.

📩 How to submit the aforementioned files:
Attach all files to your report and submit to [e-mail] so the developers can review as quickly as possible. If applicable, someone from our teams may reach out for further information or next steps for your case.
