To provide some context, the reasons why Kamiwaza is getting a remaster now is 1. Ghosts of Tsushima 2. Acquire self published this game so they still own the rights to it, and 3. "this was a game that was very near and dear to us." 🙂
The Way of the Samurais and the Shinobidos were published by Spike so you have to poke Spike Chunsoft for that.

I found out about this the very day it was announced when i was looking at all of Acquires games they developed and looked this up and noticed it didn't get a Western release and then i seen the remaster trailer for it, massive coincidence at its finest.

Hopefully. The sequel isn't anywhere near as good as the original but I'd still love the Shinobudo franchise to appear on Steam and get the love it always deserved.

And that company also owns From Software and Spike. Hope this means that we will get Shinobido games on steam.

I've recently tried playing Shinobido 2 on a PSP Vita emulator but sounds are kinda buggy on the emulator so I hope we get the games on steam ASAP.

It was my favorite and most played game on ps2. I wish for a remastered version or a sequel. There is also Bloody Roar. Old treasures.
