Does Seedy Eye Software consider a spiritual successor to Zelda's Adventure at some point?
Except in good, of course. While i don't particularly care for that game, i do have a very strong softspot for the top-down TLoZ formula (can't wait to play Echoes of Wisdom, especially because Link's Awakening on the GB is one of my favorite games).

No doubt, that the devs have what it takes to make a really fun one. Making an actually good game (which Arzette is) in the spirit of 2 notoriously bad one's is no small feat.

Also, if i may suggest a tiny QoL improvement for Arzette, since it's really not worth it's own thread imo: An exploding bomb's area of effect should be a little more visible via particle effects.

I think it's a bit different. What really passionated the main dev wasn't just because those were mediocre zelda games, not at all. It's mostly for the actual drawn out style, the cinematic, and the gameplay. I don't know the devs thoughts, or even if they previously answer to such question, but I'll think if they do, it won't be that much a passion project in hommage to those.
EDIT : Yeah no. https://twitter.com/thedopster/status/1332727572237594625

That tweet sounds more like a response to the question of a potential Zelda's Adventure remaster (like what the dev did with FoE/WoG) as well as expressing the desire to create what we now know as Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore, instead.

Doesn't exclude the possibility of an original top-down Arzette RPG with dungeons and stuff in the future, so my - perhaps misplaced - hopes are still up.

There is no "Seedy Eye Software". This game was published and developed by Limited Run Games, an anti-preservation scumbag of a company.

On the store page the dev is explicitly called Seedy Eye Software.

Seedy Eye Software developed the game. Limited Run Games just published it.

Do you have a solid proof of your claim?
