Something need to be done before its dead again
1 Matchmaking should run at background (so it doesn't stop u from play practice during the process)
1.1 It should load you into airship screen directly when a match is found.( not this 30 s stun lock confirmation screen where you can't do nothing but switch to your other screen and forget to reconfirm in time and get kicked from the queue and then chain stun other player by forcing them to redo the whole 30s process)
1.2 auto fill new one if any leaver/or afker
2.60 fps cap is not a problem in most 3a single player game, but with the visual clutter and its moba nature it def need to be updated to at least 120fps
3.I don't think f2p is the way since no one buying their low poly cosmetic with real money 7 years ago, with that being said I also don't think p2p is the way for a moba which set entry barrier for anyone who wanna try it before invest, and tank the matchmaking time even more and most importantly Dev will not have the urge to fix things or pump out new content as other f2p game.
4. Game play wise, the gap between new and vet is gigantic,
some due to it being a revived old game which have a dedicated fan base already embodied with some ancient muscle memory.
other caused by its upgrade system. for clash, player need to spec their upgrade order very carefully its almost another card game. for rush it is lv 10 from the start so poorly spec build will show it weakness immediately upon they drop from the airship and cause chain steamroll, allow player to switch hero is good move but with lv 10 from the getgo player have to at least play that hero 5 times before they know what they need to do with certain build.
5.hope this game survive a bit longer than paragon over prime

1.1: the ready check will always exist, every competitive game like this has one to make sure everyone is ready, or do you really want to load in to a match where 2 of the 5 people on your team are AFK and you spend 10 minutes losing because you're simply outnumbered

1.2: not as easy as it sounds and very few people are going to opt in to joining a match that might end 30 seconds after they join as a loss

It is so clear that this relaunch was just a blatant cash grab. This game is dead in the water again.

Not sure what that has to do with anything? someone could be a billionaire and still call something a cash grab, that doesn't make it any less true lol

It has a LOT to do with everything.

mcdonalds doesn't copy/paste burgers at no costs, doesn't give you burgers full of bugs and dust, doesn't force you to eat it on the spot while they watch over you, and doesn't take the burger out of your mouth while keeping your money

i asked multiple questions and nobody from this company answered anything. they went basically silent from release. they basically didn't fix anything. the game is, on a technical level, worse than it was when it shut down 6 years ago. they stated in one of their videos that they actually have little control over the game because it's not the original developers and they can't do much. there is apparently no player-hosted servers functionality. it seems that they went no-microtransactions for the good advertising it would generate and because it would generate a quick revenue spike on release as they don't actually plan to support the game, as opposed to free to play with microtransactions where everyone would have seen that it was full of bugs and unbalanced and locked capped at 60 fps (if even that) and turned into a meme of a bad quality game that embarassingly tries to sell microtransactions, which wouldn't have worked before they shut the servers down. if it's not a cash grab it still looks a lot like it with little to no reason to believe otherwise

"imagine spending $30 on insulin instead of 20 USD on a game"
Bit weird to shame someone for spending money on something that need to survive but are frugal about their hobbies.

While I am on your side in that people really gotta stop degrading this as a simple cash grab, your arguments are absolutely atrocious, my friend.

(Also Mc Donalds slaps...sometimes)

it's easy to guess that many shills always defending companies doing scam are bots, paid, or kids/welfare leeches. just look at all the fake positive reviews on about any game, forums aren't necessarily different

I'm genuinely confused about the matchmaking things. I guess I haven't played today, but yesterday I had only one game where it said that a player did not accept and I was watching a streamer play for like 5 hours with no issue at all and near instant queue pops.

Did the matchmaking break again? I felt like it was fixed after the first day and a half or so.

It was never fixed for me; and I have the technical know how to know it isn't my setup/ISP at fault.

I'd rather get into a game than sit in queue for five plus minutes only to get kicked out because somebody forgot to press ready.

We have to stop laboring under the assumption that Gigantic is going to become the next Overwatch. It's going to gradually lose its playerbase again, queue times are going to get longer and longer, and when queue times are 5-10 minutes or more the chance that somebody is away from their desk for a bit and misses the prompt start to get much, much higher.
