but this is supposed to be a reboot... feels like a cash grab for now.
Even if its a reboot, its still using an old engine that doesn't support these kinds of features, unless they port the whole game to a more modern version of UE, which they won't because thats more work than is worth for a game that isn't actualyl any good, then it won't support modern hardware
"we lost the knowledge, the current technology can't decipher such marvels, only the Ancient Ones knew how such things worked"
Is a thing in movies, here, they could improve it bruh
Noped the ♥♥♥♥ out of it in the first 5 minutes.
Imagine having a 60 FPS cap in a fast paced game like this.. in 2024 no less.
What a joke.
yes it is an old game and like someone already said it still runs on UE3, this re release is more of a nostalgic trip and most likely will "die" in a few months, even if it supported modern features ,it would not avoid that fate , because is not good enough, thus, not worth the dev time to port it to newer UE
They didn't even bother to take the time to put everything into Unreal 4 engine.
They just bought the game from the last company launched some servers and called it good.
Arc Games has been known to just buy games for cheap and milk them for all they can while there is some hype.
That’s good to know about lossless scaling; I may try this out myself later today.
